Perhaps like a fool, I tried making a change to my Motorolla V3i to enable "Delivery Report" following a guide that suggested I use P2KTools (version 0.8.6) under the "Other Features" > "Messages" > "SMS Delivery Report" I checked that and clicked on "SET" then rebooted the phone
Now the optino to access my Text messages, there is only the option to Compose a new message, or Read a voice mail.
I tried doing a Master Reset, but all that did was wipe all my settings and the menu system is not restored
Im panicing a little as this is my first time trying anything on this type of phone, for the love of god help me please

Simple answer: restore the seem from the backup copy you made from your phone before you applied the new setting.
Let this be a lesson to you if you didn't make a backup copy.
If you didn't make a backup, please kick yourself hard now. Then, you need to find out exactly which offset/bit the program actually changes in order to change the setting back. I'm assuming it's seem 0032_0001, offset 3D, bit 1. Or, if the problem is simply to do with the menu settings of your phone, you'll need to edit mma_ucp and mma_dcp files in order to get the messages menu back. This is a very likely scenario. I wouldn't be able to help you with that unless you sent the mma_ucp and mma_dcp files and even then, I can't guarantee that they would work because I can't test them out here.
Another option is to use p2ktools to reverse the setting by just deselecting the "set" button under SMS delivery reports, unless you've already tried this.

Im not sure what you mean mma_ucp / dcp files so Im not quite sure what I could do about that.

Mabey you could have someone make a back up of their phone, and restore from that?

Well I got a lend of another phone (same version) and copied the 0032 seem and uploaded to my phone, that fixed the problem.
(Thankfully)

make sure you go to the proper menu in p2ktools, then press get. Once little check-marks come up in the menu's, then select the settings you want, then press set. that worked on my slvr. good luck
