vx9800 GPS

Is there anyway whether it be in mobile web or a hack or a get it now(non subscripion...aka just a one time fee) program to use the GPS in the phone to its fullest advantage & use it for navigation? i would love to be able to use this for GPS quite frankly i dont know why verizon(unless i havn't found it i've only had it for 2 days) didn't put that on the phone to begin with, someone please tell me theres something, even a mobile website that'll use jave to or something i dunno ANYTHING, thanks i hope to hear something from you guys

Nothing yet, but VZW just put out something that'll run $10/mo that's only ready on one phone. I'm sure it'll be ready for the rest of their line up.

The only 'hack' of the GPS has been mentioned in one of the LG forums... But you only get the lattitude & longitude of your location...

i do believe dukrous is correct i think the 9800 will have vznavigator with its next s/w release, version 3

i have not heard of verizon planning on turning any of their current phones into LBS phones. I've only heard of it on the Moto v325 and that it will be coming out on some new phones that will be released later this year. but with verizon its hard to tell.
