9300 Build Quality

I just recently received my brother's 9300 after he used it for about a year. I'm wondering has anyone had problems with the hinge becoming loose? I'm using it right now and all seems well and tight, but when you move the top and bottom parts with your finger, you can feel it slide slightly.
Just wandering how much longer the hinge will last??? I'm hoping for awhile since I got it for free.
