It's just white in colour. It was made to be bundled with the 804SH, although in Japan it can be bought separately too.

Have a model number? Looks sweet. I've been looking for one too.

Looks like it's ZTBAA1. Retails for around $47 in Japan. Pretty damn good. The only ones I can find are $76+ located in Taiwan.

I agree, but still better than silver. I also read this has a microphone. I found a place selling them for 5600 Yen (around $50USD) but they only ship to Japan.

just so that you know, the 803T has a remote connector with 3.5mm thingy, i'm not sure if it's included by default with the phone though.... I saw one on sale, and they are even harder to find than the Sharp remotes. The 803T one is branded Vodafone as well, and has no LCD screen. The one I saw was white, I'm not sure if other colours exist.

ah, yeah i'm aware of that, and yes, i will be recieving it with the phone. however, the LCD remote was actually for my 903sh.

the remote for the 803t looks rather like the ipod remote.

I was told the 803T remote doesnt work with the 904T..... i wonder if this is true ...... anybody can test.... maybe ill gop back to the shop in a few days and ask to test it.... does anyone know if the 803T remote ships as the standard accessories INSIDE the 803T box? I ask because if it really doesn't work with the 904T i can sell it on eBay or HoFo or something.

When I did my GF's one it cost 25 dollars, the only thing is I can't get MMS to work correctly, it won't receive, it will send MMS + SMS but will only receive SMS. I forgot the name of the store but I talk to the guy there often. The kiosk is right at the fork of Belvidire Arcade and Prudential Arcade, where the Au Bon Pain is, the entrance of Hynes from the Pru, you can't miss it.

I dunno who owns it, but it's run by non-asians. You can choose to stay with JP FW or go to UK/EURO f/w if you want. Why don't you just get the 903 if you don't have one yet? The 903 has a couple of better features, than the 902, and it is not much more now. Plus you can always find them unlocked already.

ya but the 903 with jap firmware mp3 player don't work right? Same like the 902, but all the new 903 cost about $500, and the 902 new about $330.

wait which one are u? is ur ebay name ytcimports? if so are u going to relist the item up again on ebay? cuz i just got my phone today and its really nice, HK firmware made in december 2005, and i got all my mms, sms, and wap setting all done.

now i just need to know how to setup my email for tmobile. idk if u guys know how to do that tmobile trick email thingy! it is using the mytmobile.com and fowarding all my email to the tmobile server and i just download them from the tmo server instead of gmails b/c of that ssl problem!

1) Does it work as a handsfree, just like the basic one bundled with the 903?
2) I can see it works as caller ID, how about the name of the song playing, and can i seek ffwd bckwrds?
3) Is it really cool as it looks? you know is it worth the $90 ? :P

2. Yes, it works with caller ID, and yes it works with ID3, and yes, you can seek back and forwards.
3. If you listen to music in your phone and also like using handsfree a lot, then this remote is a must. Simply because it's a hassle to take your phone out every time to change the music. As for simply using for caller ID, then there is really no point to use the remote.

yes im interested because of #3 mainly. I just got my 1gb miniSD and its a pain to take my fone out to change songs/volume etc.
also when im driving, sometimes i want to check caller id before answering calls, but on the bundled handsfree, u can only answer calls, not hangup, u have to open the fone and hit end.
One last question, does it let me reject calls? Cos the bundled one doesn't i can only seem to accept a call and then hangup.

Oh yea did u guys get a screen protector for ur 903? im lookin into getting one and maybe a desktop charger. and suggestions?

i have screen protector get the EXiM ones those are by far the best. Desktop charger dont really have a use for it so didnt get it.

Just ordered one of the remotes from ytcimports aka yakuzasentinel

thru ebay its just safer i guess :S without intending anything just you know...instead of direct payment.

mine didnt come with lens protector. i havent heard of one with lens protector. Exim is simply the company that makes the material. Its washable doesnt use any kinda glue u can take it off and re-apply it so its really good.

if u see one with the lens protector as well could you please post it on the forums.

there's a company who sells cheap screen protectors but they have one that's in a set of 3 (for the 904sh) . one for the camera lens, one for the external screen lcd and one for the led light beside the camera lens.

huh..well, that's good, i'd rather have the remote via ebay..its better to pay, i'd be safer that way...I am not sure about the ability to reject calls from the remote, although I wouldn't be surprised about it being able to. As for screen protectors, I really don't need one as of yet, considering I can always get one from Daiso for 2 bux or go to HK and buy a good one

haha we're even in the same city. I bet we're no more than a 15 minute drive apart. i can usually get things from toronto to montreal next-day using the same service. lesson learned: if you need something to arrive on time, dont use canada post.

anyways, it looks like tracking info says it's out for delivery, so for all I know you could already be playing with it right now

glad to hear you finally got it! I mail stuff to the USA all the time--it could take from 6-9 business days to arrive. airmail shipments to the US aren't exactly fast, but there is an express option which would cost about $10 more (not really worth it IMO).

it has a mic, for handsfree purposes. And it shows the title of the song and the artist who sang it... that is, if you have id3 tags.. if no, it just shows the filename of the song and says "no artist"

ok here ill post pics after... here are the basic functions

1) Volume +
2) Volume -
3) Train - This limits the max volume its like AVLS on Sony stuff
4) Play/Set - Repeat, Repeat All, Random
5) Tone - Normal, Bass, Surround, Surround Bass
6) Display - Song name/Filename, Fancy Graphic, Time

On the other side ffwd, play/stop, rwnd, and hold

Only issue so far is that in my pocket sometimes the place where the remote slides into the side of the phone it comes out and im like huh what happened and i see it got disconnected.

Ya ur right about the thing getting disconnected sometimes when its in ur pocket, I also tried the headset that it came with, it seems to be a little bit tighter than the remote version. but its still the best, it also reminds me of my MiniDisc player because it came with a remote like this. great product

yeah the remote gets disconnected easily, this is my only problem. I really do not want my music blasting in the subway or where ever i am whenever my remote is disconnected . is there another way in fixing this?

try putting the phone into silent mode, opening the music player, and selecting "no" when it asks you if you want to output sound. The music should still play when you plug the headset in, but will not play through the speakers if it becomes disconnected.

i hav another qestion
whenever im using the remote to change tracks it beeps quite loudly though the earphones. it either beeps twice. or its a long beep then it switches tracks.
the beeping does not occur if i switch tracks through using the phone.

umm yeah sorry i dont think i can answer that 'cause i dont actually USE the remote myself, i just knew the silent mode trick from using a basic headphone adapter. I'm not sure if you would be able to turn that off unless there were some menu within the remote itself.
