I was given a free v600 by a friend who had no use for it anymore and so far I love it. I have always been a fan of the v600 but never owned one until now. Anyway...

It use to be locked to ATT. It has the ATT branding, when the flip is open and you are making a call it has the ATT Wireless displayed on the external LCD and it has all the mMode crap on it too.

I want to flash it to the latest firmware (unlocked and unbranded) but I am lost in all of this.

Also I thought that the v600 did video? Seems however that it cant. Would a firmware change this?

If there is a link or site one could share I could really apreciate it! Thanks for the help!

You might check http://www.motomodders.net/default.aspx?tabid=93. They have both the retail flex and retail monster pack for the V600. Should do the job for you.

Cool. Thanks for that. BTW I was reading here that one could put the v620 firmware on the v600? Is this true? I thought there could be some issues

a v620 FLEX, not flash

but you should flash a mosnterpack or reflash, and then put on "the official phonephreakz v600 flex" best flex ever for the triplets series
