Help!!! my -=i870=- phone doesnt even turn ON. WTF??

Thats right...its jacked up. Big time.

I loaded up ONE new ringtone last night, and afterwards it took a dive.

It doesnt even turn on.

I turn it on at all, and then the i870 white screen with the small text appears
and nothing else.

I even went as far as to remove the SD card, thinking it had something
to do to it, and NADA. nothing.

Then to turn it off, i have to remove the battery.

I tried this many times over now, about 15 and nothing ever changes with it.

Any suggestions anybody?? i would greatly appreciate at it? like
a special button to press or something??? anything?

I hope i dont have to lose everything.. please say it aint so.

unfortunately your codeplug may be corrupt, do you have a backup copy of your codeplug if so then put your phone into flash trap mode by holding the two softkeys then write your backup codeplug

all hope isn't lost. this may be something you can fix yourself. their is a firmware upgrade that you can try. search here for the link, i would post it myself but im here via wap and it would be to much of a hassle.
