Hello,
Just got a 7100g. I've researched and found eOffice suit. This can view .doc and edit as well but it is payware.

Is there anyway I can transfer docs to my BB so that I wont need eOffice to read them? I don't need to edit, just view. Also it doesn't have to be a .doc reader, can be .rtf or even .txt.

Any work arounds or anything? Same goes for pics, anyway to transfer pics and view them?

this is all with my cable not data transmittion.

Good question. If I may add another, I was under the impression that BB would allow me to transfer Word, Excel or PowerPoint data to the device and do minor editing? Can this also be done with PDFs that are set up for me to just input data and not lock them? I send out mostly "fill in the blank" emails to clients Word and PDF and just need to be able to do some minor editing to put their name and personal info in. If this is possible this is a big plus.

This is definitely not the cheapest way to accomplish this but here is a product you guys could try:
EOffice
I've only used in so much as showing my users how it works. I don't need to edit docs bad enough to do it on my BB. This app may be more trouble than it's worth but I've not heard my field guys complain about it yet.
