well, i've had my e398 for over a year now and figure its about time to get a new one, the fact that it shuts off on me every hour is also a good reason.....i bought the e398 off eBay after seeing it in a store in london, it was great, none of my friends had seen anything like it, i want the same thing agian, i was gonna get either the SLVR or the PEBL but i've started seeing commercials on tv for them and have a feeling they're gonna be as widespread as the once cool RAZR's....
so? what are would you people recommend? i absolutely love the 8800 but its outta my price range at the moment....the Samsung d600 is cool but not too asthetically pleasing....any others i should be looking at?

How much are you willing to spend? The SonyEricsson K750i is the best overall phone(FOR PRICE,FEATURES,and PERFORMANCE) and is one of the best sellers...

at max probably $400, i'm not a SE fan, i used to have the 710 and never really liked it....

Well like you said the Samsung D600 is also a very good phone...D600 is also a bestseller as well...If you want a MOTO then I would recommend V635,V3i or the L7. Personally my favorite Moto is my ROKR and my V635.

Skip the D600 and get a Samsung T809/D820 (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=813) if you want something different. Just don't use it on 850MHz in the States. You might as well use a coat hanger for the antenna...

t809 is not unique, tmboile has it. i do recommend some werid looking nokia or w900. k750 is a great phone but does not has a unique design

Why would ANYONE skip a D600 for a T809?

The 850 really isn't as bad as you claim it is either

I agree...I personally think that T809 crap looks butt ugly.
