I HATE being STUPID. Simple V360 question

Ok so i tried all the major stuff (super major modding/editing/seeming/blah blah ect) on my V600. I couldn't do a damn thing. all it got me was a phone that froze up a lot. What i was able to do was atleast put customized ring tones on my phone. That was good enough for me.
NEWAYZ. My phone came with a usb cable and I want to know what is the easiest way to put my own ring tones on my v360?

Either MPT, or copy the files to the TF card, then copy to the phone.
