I purchased a v360 yesterday and I want to sync Outlook for contact/calendar. However, to buy Phone Tools 4.0 from Motorola.com it comes w/ 2 usb cables that I don't need and costs $50. Is there another way to sync the phone without having to buy phone tools / usb cables. Does active sync work? Or anything that I can download from the internet instead of buying a CD-Rom. Should I just buy Mobile Phone Tools from bvrp.com for $30?

Yes, or buy from motorola.handango.com, 29.99 for purchasable download. MPT is the only motorola supported software (there may be others, I don't know). Activesync will NOT work.
