Handset Manager "trying to connect...."

Please help, I'm falling so behind with my work. I have tried to contact Panasonic both in NZ, UK and in Japan, nobody will help. I have the driver installed "Panasonic USB Com Port (COM3)". I have Handset Manager installed.

It wont connect to the phone. I'm pretty much ready to just throw the fecking thing away, or have a heart attack or just pass out from the stress. I have searched the entire internet trying to find fixes and have come up with nothing.

If someone can help me and get this to work I'd be willing to bloody pay them. Because I'm buggered if I can get it to work, and it's COSTING me money not being able to work because of the damn thing.

Thanks for your time.

try to choose your COM port from the settings of you Handset manager...

Goodluck

Yea, check to make sure that the COM port is in the right settings. I didnt have any problems installing my drivers and connecting my phone. Mine was on COM 5, but everyone is different.

I finally got the USB Driver for this phone to work, and when it does, BOY IS IT A FUN PHONE! Transferring photos and more takes but seconds! I got my money's worth I think now. The trick is to download the updated software from Panasonic's website, install the driver located in the folder "Driver --> 2000" from it first, then after your driver is installed, let WindowsXP prompt you to find the install.exe, which you install normally (my phone was plugged in this time, just for reference) and then the Handset Manager is installed along with the driver! It's miraculous and I cannot stop sharing all of my wonderful photos!

I hope that this works for you! I didn't have to change my COM port ( in the Handset Manager's settings in the top right corner) or anything else difficult like that.

I am only a little computer savvy, and I had no idea it could be this easy! Good luck! And happy syncing!

Hi,
I'm looking for the drivers qoogirl wrote about above,
The link ivelina gave, doesn't lead to any drivers, and I installed the software on that page but it still i still can't connect.
I'm running on Vista, so i think it could be that, but i haven't had the chance to try on an XP
Thnaks for any help you can give me.
Bye
