The Prodigal Son Returns...

Ahhh, it is good to be back in Black...Berry that is. I have decided to leave Motorola behind and return to where I started. I have fond memories of my first 850 pager. I was fortunate to get it as a gift while I was in college.

Now I have returned to the fold with a Blackberry 7100x. I would have gotten it right from Rogers but the price was a little high and I think you have to sign on for a two or three year agreement, can any Rogers users confirm. I'm not a fan of the contracts, but I like the Blackberry's PDA functions and the fact I can sync and keep an appointment book. If I could just change my current plan over to a Blackberry plan hassle and paper free, that would be nice.

Anyhow, Peace to All, I'm glad to be back. I'm going to read through the posts now and get up to speed.

Correct, the Robbers Wireless deals require a three yr. contract to get the discounted hardware rate, if you want to call it a discount? Just add it to the rest of their awful business tactics.

What is up with Rogers. They require 3 years, plans cost more AND unlimited is not really unlimited. You can tell there are few choices for users in the Roger's coverage area!

Rogers can more or less do whatever they like, as they are the biggest and most accessible GSM provider I know of. There is Primus, but their hardware selection is shameful and they don't have good market saturation.

I need to throw game at a girl that works up in Rogers or something, get a hookup or something. While I got you all here though, a quick question.

Can I move apps that I install from the main screen into the Applications folder?

Thanks.

I keep trying to coerce my girlfriend into 'obtaining' me a demo line so that I can return to the world of GSM Blackberries, but no dice ;p

And no, you can't move applications around in the list theme. Changing to an icon theme may suit your needs better.
