im in the US and interested in this phone but seems like most places have the Import model, what is the difference please if anyone can tell me.

same thing Same phone, same kit, same everything, different price. The countries that list it as an "import" do not have a supply from sonyericsson yet and they import it from other countries in order to sell it.

are you sure? i notice the p800 import says it comes with international warranty and a # 2-pin European plug, i am in the US and want to be able to plug the phone in to the power outlet, and also the warranty is different... i wonder if they will accept an international warranty here in the US incase i need to service or upgrade my phone?

international warrantee is *international* and last time I checked we in the USA were part of the "international" group

If you buy from expansys, you get the "british" wall plug. The "import" is european wall plug. When I got my T68 from expansys 2 years ago I got it with a british wall plug, so u wont be able to plug it in here unless u get an adaptor

They are the same thing, those are just "disclaimers" and "put your mind at east in case something happens" warnings

The simple solution is to order the Ericsson travel adaptor from just about anyone. There is attachments for 2 pin European, 3pin UK and 2pin North America.
