Hi there, I've looked over the "superthread" a few times, and I am still thoroughly confused on a few things.

1) I know the unlocked does not have iTunes, and I don't want iTunes. I also know that 512 is the largest card available now. Does the 512 have a 100 song limit? I beleive it's purely howmany mp3s you can fit on there, but I want to verify that.

2) Do ANY bluetooth headphones work? The unlocked doesn't come with headphones so I would need to buy them. I have read a few things that read that certain headphones don't work.

3) I beleive the unlocked comes without a cable to transfer to the computer (I don't have bluetooth on computer). Will I need to buy a cable or will my Razr cable work? Also, will I need to download software somewhere?

4) My final question is this: Disregarding the fact that the Cingluar phone comes with card, cable, headphones ect... Which (unlocked or Cingular) makes more sense? Are the phones otherwise identical (minus iTunes)?

Will it just be easier to get the Cingular phone? Or is the unlocked phone a better idea?

I appreciate any response I get, and hopefully I am not too "noob" for ya.

1. the 100 song limit is imposed by apple (iTunes) no iTunes no 100 song limit
2. I don't think the SLVR has the a2dp profile for bt stereo headphones (if I'm wrong someone will correct me I'm sure) either way, any bluetooth HEADSET will work
3.any RAZR cable and most digital camera cables will be just fine
4. Depends on the price. if the cingular one has more stuff bundled with it and the price is similar, I would say go with that. You could get it unlocked later if you really want to (it's really hard to unlock it right now I guess, but it will be figured out eventually)

guess what for #2, I was able to play sounds though the BT headset. It was the stock looney tunes carton video that was on the phone. but when I tried to play mp3s it wouldn't work.

So mp3s dont play through the bluetooth headphones? What do I need to get?

stereo headphones that connect with either the mini USB or the 3.5mm adapter.

so if i purchased a cingular lock slvr then i can only put 100 songs total on my phone and if i had purchased an unlocked slvr then i can put more and play mp3's on my slvr?
