RAZR cutting out

This RAZR v3 will not allow me to make a call longer than around 11 minutes.
The other person on the phone will gradually fade, although they can hear me, so it sounds like a speaker problem. But why 10-13 mins everytime?
Don't know which firmware version I have.
Anyone have any ideas?

is the phone still under warranty or do you have lockline insurance?? I think some people here will recommend updating your firmware. You can find updated firmwares from motomodders.net

If you can get a new phone. My first black RAZR did something similar to this. I returned it and all was well.
