Finnaly had the time to work on and finish a whole new communications backend.

The result is a new beta 0.1.0.0 release. Download and More Information Here

I got rid of the LG1400 from the name because this program is no longer locked to just that phone.

While it is still geared towards the LG1400 i belive other lg phones have similar commands and might work the same way. This is why i encourage users of the LG1400, C2000 and other LG GSM phones, to please try this beta and report back in the fourm, found at http://forum.lg1400.ampedhost.com/ about your success or failure, etc.

This new beta only supports downloading of pictures from the phone to your computer. I am mostly concerened with the new communications code and pictures provides a pretty good strain on it.

So please try this new version out if you have a need to or just want something to do to help out the community by take a few minutes or more and putting the program through some testing.

I want to get a good idea from feedback about how well the new code is working the sooner i can add back in ringtone support and other new features like a full gui overhaul, sms, phonebook support etc.

Thx

FIXED!

Fixed serial port bug, you still must select yours at startup everytime but it remembers it for the time the program is active.
Removed a debug message box.
Fixed crash on exit.
