u can't edit the DSP because it's like 45R or 6FR, 70R like any S/W version and it cannot be editted.
there are only a lot of versions available and i think that u've got to chose from them the one that u consider to be perfect for your needs...so i'm goin' to try the 45R DSP and see what happens

@sifun: yes, you do have to edit the PDS to make iTunes work. go to the momo forum and search for TomeQ's guide. it will show you what to do step by step.

speaking of iTunes... is it true that my bettery dies after 2 days becuase of it running in the background at all times? before modding my phone the battery would last about 3-4 days, depending on how much i used it (bluetooth was on all the time). now, it dies about 2 days even if i don't use it much, and i keep bluetooth off unless i use it. can't something be done about this?

Well, my version of the e398 was shipped without a TF card and I dont really have that much use for the mp3 player. The reason why i dont want itunes is because it is always running I have found that when I try to run the Monopoly (best phone java game of all time) it is dead slow. So...If you know of any MPs in the R373 that DO NOT have iTunes I would love to know.

I tried using an old PDS so iTunes would not run. But the game still runs slow. So i am assuming there are still process' that iTunes execute in the background that allow the core app to load but not the interface???
