Could you send me or post here the sequence for the v60t for the Bond theme as you are already registered to the software. It would really help me a lot as i think it is the only software comparable to my model the v60T, all the other sites and programs only works for the other v60. thanx a lot |

Originally posted by cheffy I found this ringtone, "Time To Say Goodbye" on: http://www.geocities.com/wynne_ang_2000/ringtone.htm It's the last tone on the page. How do I (or can anyone help me) convert this ringtone from a Nokia 3210 to a Motorola v60g? Thanks in advance! |

Originally posted by codingw You can listen to ringtones first - just hit the play button at the bottom of the ringtone window, just above the convert button - it saves on finger wear!! Does anyone know if the Nextel i90c have a composer? We are based over in England, so we cant get hold of one to see! If it does we could probably figure it out and add it to the converter if there is demand for it. The v60i codes are in there now (at last), and we have added a new feature to enhance rtttl files for noise environments, in case anyone is like me and cant hear half the ringtones when they are in the shopping mall. Originally posted by angrychair I believe when you play it like that its in the rttl format. How would i play it so that i would know what it would sound like on my v60g? The ringtones I've tried usually don't sound much like the rttl type. Thanks. |
I guess we have to wait for the v70i?

Originally posted by codingw We have not got hold of a 720 here in England yet. From what I have read it has two composers, the one for polyphonic tones, and the other for standard iMelody. The key presses for the iMelofy are likely to be the same as for the v60i, so if you try these you may find they work for you already. For the poly tones, we are writing midi file routines at the moment to compress and separate channels to make them into suitable ringtones and hope to add it soon, but of course we need to get hold of a 720 to add it to the Motorola! Let me know how you get on with the iMelody, its quite likely the codes from version 3.8 / v60i will work as they are the codes you find in most of the very latest handsets. Andy |

Originally posted by Andrey I tried setting for v60i/v60t and although tones do not sound as good as I would expect, they still sound pretty decent. The interesting thing is that the tones which I got from Motorola have name as "Mytone.mid", while the ones entered manually are "Mytone2.imy". There is a pretty noticable difference between .mid and .imy with .mid sounding much better. Personally I can't wait to see mide file routines implemented in CW. On the same note, if you would like me to test any particular features or file routines of CW before it is released, I'll be more than happy to help you out. Best regards, --Andrey |

here is the Keypress

I found other songs by the same artist but not this one. If somebody could find it, it would be greatly appreciated! Even if you find it in Nokia RTTL format, that's cool since i can use the Ringtone convertor to convert it!

Originally posted by Mark_Venture Interesting.. It worked for me BUT you must make sure when you send it, the message body must include everything from BEGIN:IMELODY to END:IMELODY.. INCLUDING the BEGIN:IMEOLDY and END:Imelody. It must contain these completely.. any misisng part of END:IMELODY, for example END:Imelo, will cause you to get just text and not the ringer tone. Subject and FROM are optional. So far, I have sent my phone 10 ringers this way and all have come through OK. But if your ringer tone exceeds the limit or misses part of the END:IMELODY words, you will not get the ring tone but instead get just text. |

Originally posted by UconnJer I read everyone of these pages, trying to find a way to put some new tones in. I spent several hours checking out different sites and links. I finally figured out how to convert the tones by my self. I know, I'm cheap. I did check out Coding Workshop. I think it's great and I will probly download the full version soon, but I just wanted to try a few songs out first, without paying the $20 or so bucks. Great thread. |
