Hi, I have searched the forums, but i couldn't find my problem anywhere. Thanks for looking....

I am trying to send a fax through my V330 phone. I am connecting to it using a usb data cable. I have set up the XP fax service, and I'm not running MPT at the time. When I start to dial, windows tells me it's a busy line. But, my phone starts to dial, but immediatly stops. I hear the sound for a failed call on the phone. I have dialed the fax line myself and it starts to ring, so it's not the fax machine on the other end giving a problem. I have faxmail with t-mobile enabled. Do I have something configured wrong on my computer? Does anyone know if i need to enable anything on my phone?

I have selected the Motorola USB modem in the fax setting on my laptop. Is there anything else that I am suppose to select or enable?

Please help. Thanks.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE-

With a v360 and Windows Server 2003.

Any ideas? Tmobile support sucks, they hungup on me after a 92 minute phone call.

When doing any kind of connecting like that outside of MPT, you may have to use some extra modem init strings (I don't know). Also, see if you have an option for waiting for the dial tone, and turning that off.

I believe that I have turned off "Wait for dial tone". I'm not sure though, I will try again later. But it seems to me that it's the extra modem strings that I need.

If anyone has the modem strings, please post them here. I have searched the forums, and maybe i used the wrong terms, but I didn't find anything useful...

THANKS!!
