Hello,
I just recieved my new v635, but there are a couple of things that have bothered me, one is a problem which i had with my first v600, there seems to be a black plastic where the phone opens and closes and causes it to leave a mark near the lens, the best way i can describe it is like a straight line across the top of the bezel, how can i fix this? can i simple remove it with a tool? my next issue is this, my phone is unlocked but it says TIM on the bottom of the phone, and it has the 2 icons of TIM company in the main menu, now is there a way to take that off? Or does this mean that my phone isnt really unlocked? Please your help will be great! If i cant resolve these problems i might give it back.

I use a dab of 3M fine cut rubbing compound (1500) and a nice soft cloth to rub the scratches out on my V635. Then for a final polish I use 3M plastic polish and the same cloth.
These two products work wonders for minor scuffs and scratches on the various LCD lenses as well.

Im thinking of removing the black plastic, seems fairly simple, just have to open up the phone, any advance users agree? And any info on the removal of the TIM icons?

For the people who have owned a v635, did you have that black piece i spoke about on top? I know that it was an issue with some v600 phones but motorola did later fix it, Any help?
