MEdia Net vs PDA Connect

I just got the new 8125 and have PDA Connect for it. I know I can do whatever I need currently on the PDA connect, but was wondering the exact differences between it and the cheaper MEdia Net. I am interested in unlimited data.

The features I need:
wifi not limited in anyway (proxy setting is only thing that may get into the way that I can think of)
web site access (the faster the better)
streaming media (from sites such as orb)
exchange server email

I was told by Cingular that you only need PDA Connect if you are going to use your phone as a modem to connect your separate PDA to the internet. They said as you as you only search the internet on your phone that the medianet plan is fine.

I definitely recommend an unlimited plan.

thank you very much for your help. I now can save $20/month.

how do I remove a feature? I thought it would be obvious and I knew one could do it since a store had done it for me once with just a few clicks of the mouse but I don't see how a user can remove a feture himself.

Also on my features list is shows PDA39 right below the PDAConnect feature. Any idea what this is? It is listed with no cost next to it.

I would go into the store & ask for a print-out when the're done. I have no idea what PDA39 is.

Like many others on this forum, I've heard quite different answers from different reps at different stores, CS, etc. But I've had medianet for several years with many phones and never had a problem, but I don't tether (use as a modem to connect with my PDA). I do have mobitv & use a lot of data though. Right now I use a Nokia 6682, previously the Motorola mpx220, before that I think it was the Moto v552 & V600. I have not tried to use it with a Blackberry, I think that's totally different.
