v3 moble tools driver problems

hey all i wnet everywhere to try to get my razor v3 to work usb cable & moble phone tools.i intalled the drivers with the v3 phone then checked to see if its in the device manager it was then installed moble phone tools restatred my computer and it still says that moble phone tools did not dect my phone then i tried the menu creating a new phone connection still that dumb icon saying phone or modem not connected how can that be when its showing up in the device manager can any one help it doesnt make sense why its not working on wibndows Xp home edition
