Unlocking my E815

I was wondering say I unlocked the E815 so it could be used by T-Mobile. Would that also unlock the restrictions on the file transfer via Bluetooth and also allow me to use it as a modem?

Was the phone originally a Verizon phone? If so, you can't use CDMA phone's on a GSM Network....locked or unlocked.
