only a select few mp3's will transfer to my e815 (via USB)

i cant figure out what causes it. they are all different lengths, one is 192kbps, another is 253kbps VBR.
sometimes it will transfer about 4% of the file, then it will just freeze. other times it will make it halfway then freeze. MPT then says the link was broken, then i have to disconnect/reconect my phone then restart the media studio in MPT to be able to transfer files again
anyone else having common problems? fix?
