Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if the GX32 has voice dialing through the BT headset? I currently have GX32 but cant seem to find any options on voice dialing.
I have a chance to exchange this for a Moto V635 and since the GX32 doesnt seem to have voice dialing, im getting swayed for the V635.
Can anyone confirm if it has this feature or not?
Thank you in advance,
-Chip
P.S. Ive googled myself to death and havent found anything mentioning voice dial.
THanks

there is no voice dialing through bt through my experience. unless voice dialing is that important, i'd suggest you keep your phone and stay way from the v635.

Thanks Wikka, wow! what a fast reply!
Im blown away by the display on the GX32. Any reason why you say to stay away from the v635?
I havent done much homework on it yet.

Thanks for all your really fast replies. I just got this GX32. Im really blown away by the inner screen.
I guess I can live without the voice dialing though Im surprised it doesnt have it, since it so many other things.
Ive been playing with it for awhile today (been snowed in) and looks like Ill need a manual or something.
I cant seem to find where to change the ring tone, or make it louder for the life of me! loll.
And if I keep it I will have to set up the settings (WAP. MMS I think they are).
I found another thread showing the settings but it didnt really match up to what my phone wanted.
I have to look again. I just want to also be sure that I can take pictures and send them to a phone or email and make sure the text features work....
Thanks again all. Any more input on this phone will be appreciated!

to set ringtone volume is at
menu --> profiles --> normal ( or which ever setting u perfer ) --> options ( right soft key ) --> personalise --> all there
ringer volume, ringer type just make sure that if your moving songs from memory card have it on the cell's mem and not the sd or else it wont work. and mmf no bigger then 60kb and also no mp3 ringers thats about all ^^
hab fun and good luck w/ your gx-32

Thanks AZN. Ok, Theres a huge amount of ringtones to choose from! WOW. lol. Ring tone volume isnt the greatest when maxed but will work.
Thank you for the info and helping me out. And I have to agree that the inside screen is so crisp.
Now I have to figure out how to fix the voicemail phone # and its not alerting me when I get a message.
Im assuming thats in the WAP and MMS setting input I have to do?
Thanks again for all your rediculouly fast replies!! loll :-)

My first initial reaction of the service is a thumbs down.... :-( Im getting used to the phone and like all the features.
I have a Moto V3 that I just cant get used to and am hoping the GX32 will win.
However, testing the GX32 in my home provides VERY poor reception and 2 dropped calls out of 5 where my V3 has worked perfect for months. Im surprised by this since the V3 has internal antenna.
I noticed that the singal strength meter goes up and down on the GX32 even when not moving it where the V3 is more contast. Sometimes theres no bars at all!
Is there any reason for this? And can it be improved?
Thanks again!

um... thats odd cause for me its the opposite reason being i had the v3 before i keep gettin dropped calls on a 45min bus ride i would drop the calls at least 2-3 times but w/ my gx i did no have that problem... i guess it could be the difference in carrier

Have you used the data cable for your GX-32? I can't get mine to work.

i had a gx32 for about a month and sold it. i hated it. besides the nice screen and the camera, it really didn't offer anything else for me. it depends on your tastes, i guess. imo, the screen and camera is the only thing the gx32 has over the v635 (which has EDGE, a better mp3 player, native mp3 ringtones).
