Alright basically i'm having trouble with the whole text messaging thing on my i875. idk how to fix it and i read some of the other threads and i have no idea where i can download those programs or what to do. i am so confused can someone please help me

You using this on boost or have you had it unlocked and using on nextel account?

Also are you using a sim from a older phone...say a i730 where the text came as net alerts?

no it's an i860 sim and its unlock on a nextel account. i called nextel about it already and they are like its not compatible with nextel services or something. i was wondering if there is any other way i can fix this.

yes this can be fixed with a edit of your CP.

The i875 currently has the Boost address still inside of it in some fields needed for texting and they need to be changed to the nextel ones.

Hope this helps, post up your CP in the softwear fourm and someone will help ya out.

ok i have no idea what a CP is or how to see it and post it up. i've never messed with any of the nextel functions before. can you help me and tell me what to do ?

^^ Read the FAQ's and Stickies in the software section as to how to get your CP--spend a little time looking around there and reading and you should be able to figure it out. If you are still having trouble with that process, post in one of the relevant threads in the software section, as there are many threads there that should answer all your questions about getting your CP off your phone. Thread moved to software forum....

what CP am i suppose to post up ? i'm confused

is there anyway to put 3way calling on a boost i875 ? like changing some of the things on the CP ? can someone let me know please ! thank you~

i went to the MMS server (line 61) and changed the url and i did the same for HTTP TO-TCP Gateway URL (line 81). after that text messagings work again. by any chance do you know how to enable the 3 way calling on an i875 ?

User ergurnomics->Tering flags then "Three Way Call" and "Three Way DTMF" (line 18 and 19)**

**Lines can always be diffrent, diffrent phones have diffrent options and Codeplug structures and there are diffrent versions of RSS that have more fields open to them.

Hi, I am new in using Nextel phone. I am using "MOTOROLA NEXTEL BOOST UNLOCK i875 upgrade i870". I got some questions, please answers.
1. Where can I download "Motorola i875 Manual" (i don't get "Manual Book")?
2. Motorola i875, is that GSM Phone / CDMA Phone /...?
