Well I just took delivery of my brand spanking new p800...what a treat!! Everything works great, SMS etc. with the exception that I have not been able to get GPRS to work.
Now the sad part of this story I am on the Fido network in Canada and for those who know you might as well forget entirely about asking any of the CSRs there for help with phone that they support let alone those they do not even know exist.
I had originally thought that it would not be too hard to figure out the settings given that I have GPRS working on my t68m. Boy was I wrong. Not being an expert in how these accounts are set up I was totally at a loss as to how to set this up....tried a few things with no success.
Thought that I would post my t68m GPRS settings and see if anyone out there who is more knowledgeable than me (probably just about all of you) could give me some help/suggestion in setting GPRS successfully on my p800

Settings for my t68m:

Under Data Accounts
Account name: GPRS
APN: wap.fido.ca
Userid: fido
Password: fido
Password request: off
Allow calls: Automatic
Ip address:
DNS address:
Advanced/ Authentication: normal
Advanced/Data compression: on
Advanced/Header compression: off

Under WAP settings/Gateway/IP settings

IP address 205.151.110.110
Userid: fido
password:fido
data mode: connectionless
security: off
show images: on
response timer: 150 sec

I would really appreciate any help here. Realize this is early days for any hands on experience out there with Fido but perhaps someone on another network who transferred from using the t68 to p800 would have an idea??

Thanks
