How hungry is RAZR's Bluetooth when not in use?

I use a Bluetooth headset with my RAZR only very occasionally:
maybe once a week or so. I've been keeping the phone's Bluetooth
power off except when needed. But then when I do want to use the
headset, especially on an incoming call, it's a pain to turn the power on.
So, am I really saving much (and increasing the phone's standby time)
by keeping Bluetooth power off? I suppose the phone doesn't need to
transmit anything until it hears from my headset, and the headset
itself is off until I need to use it. But it needs to keep listening,
so I expect it's consuming something. Thanks.

i leave mine on all the time, and ya it drains the battery a little bit, but having it ready to answer and charing every 2-3 days is ok for me
