Hi everyone, I am intested in purchasing Sharp 903 on ebay for $480 but not sure on features and not sure if it's safe. Any suggestions and features of "LIKES AND DISLIKES" of Sharp 903. And what firmware is best or doesn't matter? I have seen and used lot of different types of phones but this phone has all or most features i'm looking, (currently using Samsung D500) i love the phone being 3.2 mp. Also, I was wondering if any of you guys owned a D500 before and what is the difference.!! thanks for all your help in advance!

Hi, the phones you probably want to compare with are the W900i, and up and coming nokia n80, these are your biggest comp when choosing this phone, D500 is not really in the same sector feature wise i would say. But i did alot of comparisions with the W900i, as it has a better themed and use friendly software and the exceptional mp3 functions, but at the end of the day i choose the 903 because its smaller and handier for one thing, has the flip around screen which helps self photo shoots and ultimately the camera was the most important. While being 3.2MP is one thing, you normally only make use of 2MP anyway but its clarity and quality (less noise etc) just simply outclasses anything and makes up for alot of the deficits of the phone in other areas.
most annoying thing about the 903 for me, if you choose the UK firmware you cant display chinese in txt or mp3 player (song names), i mean serious is it that hard to make it that little bit more handier?
