I just purchased a V3C phone and all I want to do is transfer pictures from my phone to the computer. I have the cable but the software I borrowed from a friend wont' work. His software came with his black razr and i think his is just a V3. Is there an easy way to do this rather then dropping $30 bux on that cheesy software

this is my first post but maybe this will help out.

i take it you have your friends MPT software. i just installed a version of MPT 3.22 and it didn't work initailly. i updated the motorola driver from BVRP, called DriverTool.zip. i then live updated the MPT software to version 4.04 i believe. took 3 updates but other than that, worked out like a charm.

there is lots of info on how to setup the MPT for the v3c on there. i took all my info from there. otherwise, i would've been stuck also.

if it makes a difference, and some of the more experienced people here would know more, i am NOT on verison. i am on the telus network in canada and can use all the features on my phone.
