New razr with a screen problem

I just bought my Razr yesterday and im having problems with the screen

After 2 minutes after turning on the phone it either flickers, goes white, colored vertical lines start going across, or the resolution gets big and it becomes hard to see. Somebody told me if i flash it would go back to normal but I have no idea what that means so can somebody plz explain. thanks

and if the phone is brand new, i wouldn't even bother flashing, i'd take it back and get a new one right there...don't even waste time flashing it....

Cyberpac9 is right. If it's a new phone just return it and get another. You shouldn't have to flash anything. It should work perfect out of the box.
