Having trouble recharging SLVR L7

Well, I just bought a new SLVR last week and it died last night so I went to recharge it, but everytime I put the phone on the charger, nothing happened. It never showed me that it was charging or anything. I have no clue what to do now because it won't even turn on anymore. Anyone know what's wrong?
