Ok well long story short my phone got thrown

, the battery popped out and a piece of the cover broke off and now when I turn on the phone the screen is all white although the phone itself does still function normally. I was thinking of replacing the screen, flex cable and the outter shell but a friend of mine suggested I come here first. He refered to you all as "genius's" and I figured since I did something so dumb as throw the phone I should appeal to higher powers as to how to fix it lol thanks in advance for the help.

Well I've decided I am going to get a new phone now could someone let me know if I will be able to get my photos, ringtones, video and all my other misc. crap off of it even though the screen is fried?

try throwing it again. i think the #'s will transfer over that way

Yeah it's definately tempting to throw it again, even before this happened I would get the white screen and the dropped calls. I am thinking of going with a treo I just want to make sure I can get my things off of this one.

time to hit ebay and just buy parts to fix it. or cnn for the replacement screens and cable. its still a great phone and worth the fix imho.

Have you tried using a data cable or bluetooth?
