hi, thanks for looking. When I try to fax using the plain old windows fax on XP SP2...It begins to dial the fax number and then it says that the number is busy. but here's the deal...my phone doesn't even get to dial the number. It just ends the call about a second after it starts it. PLEASE HELP! I have both bluetooth and the cable available...I've been using the cable...bluetooth did the same thing though.

I'm having the exact same problem, using either Bluetooth or the USB cable. Everything else seems to be working fine, and this problem ocurred both before and after I installed Motorola's Phone Tools. Anyone else experiencing this problem or have any ideas? I've tried messing with a variety of settings including modem initialization strings, reset strings, fax class, etc. to no avail. VERY frustrating!

Your carrier is going to make you pay for a CSID which would allow you to fax .....

Just another fee on top of what you already pay for.
