Guess I can try the KB skin option in tweaks 2k2, but I doubt that would work either.
oh well was worth a try. Guess I will just stick with resco KB for now. I like it alot anyways.

. I have created an icon that blends so well with my WA2 themes and regular themes, the only way you can see it is with the target I added to it in white. I love taptext. Talk about a time saving, type saving app. This is one of the best apps I have bought yet. I really wish they had done a better job of placing the icon, but hey, I have that handled too now

Ocassionally, getting rarely, I may see 20.1 or something, but it goes away quickly. Still much better then i was doing. 
Boot up is defenetly a bit faster.

Apperantly the dead link was a result of a hacker that was on the site who has long been removed. He has givin me the good link to the cab for KB skins and here it is http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/downloads/keyboard.cab This combined with the skins on the lakeridge site will hopefully work for reskinning the KB. I would love to see what the Black and White marble KB looks like with my B&W skin I modified. Update: Ok after trying this out the KB skins do not work on our device oh well was worth a try. Guess I will just stick with resco KB for now. I like it alot anyways. |

They rep said an MDA is for you. Better, and the newest and hottest phone on the market. OK I said, send it. It will however cost you $250.00 more than your SK2. Received the phone and had it activated. Charged it up and decided to play with it a day later. Tried to gain access to the internet and couldn’t. Could get my email though. Called the T-Mobile customer service and was switched a couple of times to different representatives. Now I am told that I had no data plan for my New MDA, I was still on a SK2 plan which won't work with the MDA phone. OK what do I need to do now? You need a data plan, OK lets get it, The cost is $49.00 per month and the following is what you get. Unlimited Data Unlimited Email Accounts Instant Messaging T-Zones 300 anytime airtime minutes, and FREE weekends Wow now I'm a happy camper, went out of town and am using my phone, data plan and email like a champ. Even found out that my Sling Box works on the Mobile now. That was until I received another bill for my services, I was charged for everything. WOW WHAT happened to the $49.00 a month plan I was on? Called T-Mobile customer service and was told I was on the wrong $49.00 a month plan. They will now switch me to the proper plan however; I have to pay for the bills I have incurred. What a Rip. So hopefully now everything should be smooth, wrong again got this months bill and am now charged a fee for my AIM service, it seems that the OZ program is an instant message service and you are charged for IM’s. Went on line and found Agile Mobile Messaging and hopefully all is going to be well. J.D. Powers must be getting paid for there findings. |

Your bottom skin can be different. So comparing ur skin to same skin someone else is using could be like comparing apples and oranges. I have changed the bottom skin. I know you know, but I changed buttons by simply using a paint program like shop pro 8, viewing both buttons from both skins side by side to determine what names to use, to replace on the skin Im using. Graphic names have to be named exactly as the designer named them on the skin u want to use. You can do that with music too. For example, on skin I am using here, button was named: silverado_ButNormal.png But the button I wanted to use from my older skin was named: Chromium_buttonnormal.png. So I named the Chromium_buttonnormal.png > silverado_ButNormal.png and replaced the graphic directly to the WA2 MDA skin, then soft reset, bingo different bottom skin. |

Could be ActiveSync (haven't unhidden that yet in Wisbar's task manager, so I'm not sure). Don't know what to think.
One thing that's very interesting is that my battery is still showing at 100% -- also confirmed by using Voice Command to check the level. Is that weird or what? Definitely need to experiment and tweak... |

Ah well. Just me being a tad slow on a Sunday night. Switching topics a bit: I restarted my MDA again a few hours ago, only I did NOT have it plugged into my pc at the time or since. Still showing 19.8 MB free RAM, and I haven't run FreeUp RAM. Really thinking that ActiveStink is a major culprit. I may try the advice re: temporarily adding a new server, setting the sync to manual instead of automatic, etc, etc, etc. Alternative might be to browse the registry entries for ActiveSync to see if I can figure out where it's tripping the auto sync... |

The KB skin doesnt work on the MDA. Not sure why, but I have tried a few times and they just dont work. Now if you have Resco KB, then you can install Resco KB skins and those work fine.

. So you don't believe in backups ha, good, cruising for a bruising bro. Restoring a backup after a ROM upgrade is not something I would do. I screwed up with email restoring from 2.17, but not to do backups of different phases? Im pretty good at restoring myself after cold boots, but frankly I'd take a self extracting backup anytime, especially one that took me long, long, time to configure properly. I for one feel it's tidious to go through hacks, and owner info, and configurations, yada,yada, ... I'd rather be fishing, and restoring quickly from backup.. But that's me dos centavos bro.

But then i would have to dig deeper, or reformat card and reload everythig again. But I honestly believe the first secenario would have worked right away. By the way you can use commander to bckup registry, but I had no luck with tht. So I use Kelmist Regedit, cause it does a great job, easier to read registry and edit registry, then commander. But I had it already before the upgrade to 2.17/2.21 which includes Commander. Commander atleast saved me money from having to buy a good FPT, and solid file explorer. |

Remember I3onk. We had that issue with Opera as default browser and links would not work, except you found out, they work if you don't use default with opera. But it worked for me anyway after I installed Diary. In otherwords, with PB on today when you clicked on email, you get same popup window with email, but there is no links with PB. With Diary, it gives you links and links to opera easily. Anway, not an argument, just a point of view here.. Still MadDogX007 Mad at no access!! |

Technically its a file you're editing, not a folder. go here: /program files/lakeridge/sa_silverado/skin.tsk (I think thats the right extension) Open that w/ a text editor then cruise down until you see the landscape section i3onk is talking about and make the tweak to the filename. I'm currently rebooting (closing & reopening wisbar didn't fix it) so I'll let you know shortly if that fixed it for me. |

Yes, then I see the line: landscape=0 But that did not work for me immediately after saving, again using the floppy icon, I am resetting to see.. O.K. very cool bro.... It worked, but had to soft reset.
