Motorola A630 question

i have a Motorola A630, just got it from my sister since she upgraded, i have one problem...is there a LOCK feature? like how nokias have a keypad lock? i cant stand this thing calling numbers when its in my pocket.... is there a way to disable the side key or take out the phone book so it doesnt find its way into dailing while in my pocket....thank you
