Try Audacity. There is an amplify option.

About AUDACITY...

It is free from sourceforge from whence we get BitPim. It is a bit short of detailed instructions and help files so some experimenting may be necessary to learn its capabilities - which are many. It is possible to amplify only selected sections of a song. You can also change the pitch, tempo, introduce echo or reverb. It's a very powerful application. In increasing the volume you may need to be careful to not over-modulate causing "splattering" in the playing, particularly with such small speakers or earpieces.

HAVE FUN

if you have pc, download goldwave and run "maximize" on your mp3. this will make your mp3s the highest possible volume without peaking (causing distortion)
