How do I turn the volume(gain) down for this phone. Yesterday I was trying out p2k manager, and I don't know what happend, because I didn't do anything, and the phone said it was in bootloader mode or something so I disconnected the usb cable and the phone was not responding, so I had to remove the battery.
Now, everything works ok, but all the voluems are really loud, too loud. With all the volumes set to 1, it's probably as loud, if not louder than it used to be when the volume was set to maximum. There is some distortion now when I go past 3 because it is so loud.
I want to know how to put it back to how it was, can someone help me please. I tried changing the gain in p2k tools, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

use p2kAE m8...........open gain table and set the values to whatever u like...........(do not go over 4 as this can brick your speakers etc..........)

I can't get my phone to connect to p2kae........is there anything specific i need to do to get it to connect?
Edit:
Ok, I got the phone to connect, and changed all the gains, even the master gain for speakers and microphone to 1, and it had no change, it is still very loud, sounds the same.
Any help would be good.

I fixed the problem. But, now, I can't edit my phonebook, I can't change any info. on it like picture or ring tone, etc. When I press the "edit" button, it kicks me out back to the main screen where I can see the wallpaper.
What I did was try to flash my phone with the 45R firmware for the ROKR E1, which is what I have, but it failed, something about the bootloader, and then my phone restarted.
Once it restarted, the volume was back to normal, but I can't edit my phonebook at all now.
My phone is still at R373_G_0E.30.34R_A
Any ideas???

I knew I had forgotten something, I forgot to come back and say I had fixed my phone. I found a flash of the R373_G_0E.30.34R_A and I extracted the only the flex from it using flash backup 2.62, and I flashed the flex back to my phone, and everything is working fine now, some how I corrupted the flex when I tried to flash the 45R.
It might have been I tried flashing the wrong flash to the phone, but I am pretty sure it was the correct one.
Right now I downloaded a flash that says it's the OEM 45R for the ROKR and I am currently downloading the 46R OEM reflash for the ROKR posted by erchant over at gsmswerver as well. This is the name of the file "373_G_0E.30.46R_PDS004_LP0039_DRM0101_JPJAVA_G_0E_ E790_00_00_24I_GSKKLGOT676SR085_1FF"
I am a little reluctant to flash the phone again because I might damage my phone and not be able to fix it; plus I want to flash my phone with a cingular branded flash, not a Rogers or something else branded flash. I am not sure if the flashes I am downloading Cingular branded or not, and does it matter? . I am still new to this.
By the way, does it take long to complete the flash to the phone?

if u have major probs like that you should back up your phone (if you can) and just reset all.(and reflash it if u had previously flashed it)
