I'm a seasoned Mac user and I have set up and connected my new SLVR. iSync sees the SLVR using EITHER USB or Bluetooth.

Problem 1: iSync does not sync the addresses from my Mac Address Book... just the phone numbers and emails. (Yes, I have set the iSync checkboxes correctly!) I've seen other posts and it seems that iSync doesn't play well with the Motorola Address Book... true?

Problem 2: iSync syncs the iCal calendar perfectly - the FIRST time! Then, any subsequent sync DOUBLES EVERYTHING in BOTH Calendars! Arghhhh... I have worked around this by removing the SLVR, then re-adding it to iSync and syncing with "wipe info from device on 1st sync" enabled.

So I searched for a 3rd party solution and found numerous posts about a Nova Media iSync plugin for the SLVR. The Nova Media web site does not list the SLVR, but every review and download site says it includes SLVR support. So I bought it. Well, it does NOT add any SLVR support...

Has anyone used the Nova Media plugin? www.novamedia.de

Has anyone had success syncing the SLVR with iSync and getting ALL the data to sync?

First of all, I though the SLVR plug-in was a free download... at least it was when I got it. I followed a link from Apple's Discussion Forum.

As for the address not syncing... It's a known problem.

I blame Motorola's programmers. They apparently can't design a decent GUI if their lives depended on it, and the address book software STILL blows chunks!
