Roaming icon on unlocked Razr?

Just bought a black unlocked Razr and popped in my Cingular SIM card. Works perfectly except I see the Roaming icon on the screen even when the network displayed in settings is Cingular.

Is that normal since this phone is unlocked?

yes, happens alot and has been covered alot...searching and reading the wiki would show you what to do...

Great, thanks! I am an idiot with computers so won't be risking f***ing up my phone with that edit.

As long as it is a common situation and does not mean I am roaming, I can live with the icon.
