I currently have a SE T610 and have decided its time to move on. The Moto Razr v3x has everything I am looking for except the price. I want a flip UTMS phone with good reception and a good camera. Now the only problem with it is the price. Are there any other comparable phones out there similar to the v3x?

Why do you want a UMTS phone, you have no use for one

The UMTS/3G phones used in Europe will be incompatible with the North American 3G network when it is rolled out. We are going to be using the 850/1900 band with Cingular while Europe/Japan use the 2100 band. Fido/Rogers will be the same as Cingular and thus you will not get the 3G functions working in North America with a imported phone right now.

Ah thanks for the heads up. I am totally behind on cell tech. So in that case what would be a appropriate phone?

No phone that is yet available. Also Canadians aren't going to see 3G probably till 2007 so you are stuck with "regular" phone for now.

I believe the Nokia N80 will be compatible with North American as well as European 3G networks...It's also a quad-band phone; the first quad-band 3G phone...It is being released in the next few months.

The N80 also is a DUAL BAND UMTS/QUAD BAND GSM phone which has not only the 2100Mhz for UMTS but the 1900Mhz as well so it should work with UMTS in the US when it actually becomes available (Which will me in a million years, dont count on it LOL)
