I sychronized my new treo 650 with my computer, it said that there was no user id for it so I created a new one just to upgrade my firmware. However, all of my to do lists and calender items are in my old user id for my old 650. Now the activesync won't let my computer and phone sinc with another user id. I tried to change the name of the id of the info I want to the one I made for the phone, and delete the new id for it, but it just says that it can't create a duplicate id and I need to delete one. It's pretty ridiculous that I can't import info from one id to another, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You CAN import info & delete user IDs, and import the DBs into a new user ID.

In Palm Desktop, get to the user ID you want to get the info from. If it's contacts, hit ctrl+A to highlight all of them(or however many you want to export, I'm sure you know how to do this), and click on 'file' & then 'export' on the top left menu. Name it contacts or calendar or whatever & save it somewhere where you'll remember it. Then, you can delete all the old user IDs, create a new one, and import the info into it. ust hit 'file' again & 'import', and select the database you exported earlier.
