V3 Video Length MMS=Maximum

Hello,

I have a V3 (using T-mobile). I have flashed/flexed using the following files...

The problem I am having is that after I did this, yes, it did open up the video length option of "maximum", however, when I chose this option, no noticable difference in length was noticed.

Basically saying that I get a 5 sec video regardless of what I choose (MMS or MAXIMUM)...

Please help. If there is a better flash/flex to use, please point me to the correct one...

I have also tried the following, and it does give me long video, but I don't like to use it 'cause it says "cingular" on the network list and I don't want to risk roaming when I travel... This is one of those monster packs.

You also have to go into video setup and set length to MMS....

I'm sorry I wasn't more complete.

I did in fact choose both options in order to test the length it would allow. I did this back and forth about 3 times after trying other adjustments...nothing seems to make the maximum setting open up...though the origional flex did not offer the maximum setting, so the newer flex did open something up, I just wonder what makes it actually queue up...

I found what looks like a more recent flex:

I'll try it tonight to see if it is better. Though I couldn't find a better flash, so I guess I'll keep it the same...

You need to familiarize yourself with seem editing...

Just use the V3 Guide in my sig and follow the seem edits and you wont have to go thru the MP's or flexlashes ..

Almost everything is done by seem edits....learn it!

Thanks for the help.

I try not to do seem edits cause my P2Kman doesn't seem to be working right...I really screwed up my volume edit I tried (I think the upload was not working right)....the file was there, but no sound...going back to the backup seem = still no sounds at all....

Anyway, I did find an answer to my video problem elsewhere on the forum.

I switched it to MMS and then changed the MMS setting to "file size limit = none". Now I get a 90 Sec video!!

"Maximum" still gives me a 5 sec. video...

Too bad my Cingular V551 doesn't have a size limit option....but at least a "maximum" setting gives me about 30 sec of video.
