How do I delete EVERYTHING from a 650?

Im exchanging it for the L7, however I cant figure out how to delete everything i have saved in it, the calendar, memos etc,,

hard reset.

I believe it is hold down the power key then press and release the reset button. keep holding the power until the circular palm logo appears.
then release and follow instructions

there is a different combination to zero it out, that is to write zeros on all of the memory so some tech savvy person can't steal your info. I think you plug the hotsync cable in, do exactly what you did before, but this time press the hotsync button too.

I've read those instructions. You need the following:
-snorkle
-map of Baltimore
-glue
-toliet paper
-fishing pole
-1 eye of newt

seriously though, they say:

I tried it, but I don't think it worked, or maybe it did...
