Ok.. maybe if we have one location for the Moto phones questions / links on this it may help.. I just read through 30 other topics and still did not find the answer.

1) MotoMidMan located here: http://motosource.bot.nu/ only shows version 3.0 and other said we need version 3.3 for the SLVR to work. Where is version 3.3? Regardless how do you get the tool and the phone to connect. Not matter what order they are opened it 100% of the time shows disconnected.

2) I downloaded P2Ktools, not sure why however located here P2kTools v0.8.6 build 406 http://motosource.bot.nu/ and we have the same problem, cannot connect to the phone.

3) RSD Lite, I have been told I need it to get WinAmp working or the other / iTunes, however I can't find one place to download RSD Lite w/o having an account as a Motorola employee or partner.

Can someone say

Where to find the missing products / versions?
How to get the phones and products to talk
What do the products do (generally) and why are they needed.

My phone works 100% fine with Motorola Phone Tools and connects fine via USB 2.0 for both exploring and moving files, so the phone and usb works.. why not the software?

and for all progs skiman/motomidman etc just load these in place of p2ktools.

I know my guide works if you follow it because i have it working on several different computers.

RSD lite locating problems follow what i say and ignore google.
Also as far as i know motomidman 3.0 is the most recent and i know it works perfectly for me with my slvr if you are trying to use winamp lite/itunes or java apps.
