Multiple Email accounts with Xpressmail??

Ok, I have searched the forum and the news I am getting is not what I expected. Either on a Cingular page or one of the 2125 reviews (PCMag or someplace) it was stated that Xpressmail would allow you to connect to an exchange server PLUS three personal email accounts, with the personal account (presumably just non exchange accounts, pop/IMAP) would be delivered to their own folders.

My 2125 is on order and should be at the store tomorrow, and I have already setup Xpressmail. However, it appears to me you have the option of having either Exchange or a single POP/IMAP, not Exchange plus three POP/IMAP accounts.

I am kind of bummed, since I had hoped to have my exchange emails plus a couple of my personal email accounts pushed to the phone.

Were they possibly referring to the no longer available enterprise version of Xpressmail, or do you think it was simply mistated?

Thanks

Ok, I found where I read it:

" Xpress Mail Personal Edition provides support for multiple inboxes so you can consolidate your business and personal ISP based email accounts using the same device"

"Access up to 3 personal email accounts on the same device with separate inboxes"

hehe, i would have just said use folders. LOL.. But then again i'm just too used to Outlook. When i did have multiple emails (don't even ask why) i had my business email come to my inbox and then a sub inbox would get my personal email. Worked for me...

But since you already got the info no need for me to suggest anything right

SO how do you get the subfolders in your outlook to be "seen". I have searched for this answer...

So in MS exchange (my IT are idiots and can't get sync to work yet with Windows 2003 server due to certificate errors) I have

Inbox
--------->Personal
--------->Patients

Etc. So most crucial stuff (like from people in my contacts) go to Perosnal

However xpressmail only sees the "inbox" root directory

I think what tnedator was asking is something like this:
a) Work email pushed to phone from Exhange in folder/account "Work"
b) Gmail personal email pushed to phone in folder/account "Gmail"
c) Yahoo personal email pushed to phone in folder/account "Yahoo"
d) POP personal email pushed to phone in folder/account "POP"

I agree.. the Cingular description of XPressMail is misleading. I think what they mean is:

Can set up either:
a) Push email via Exchange

OR

b) ONE of a number of personal email accounts including yahoo, gmail, POP

If you search the knowledgebase on Cingular's site it does clearly say that you can only set up XPressMail for one account only.

Would love to be contradicted here as I was hoping to do exactly what tnedator wanted to do but ended up dissappointed.

I ended up setting XPressMail to push exchange email (as I needed that to be more timely and also liked the sync of exchange calendar over the air). For personal email, I have to resort to the minimum 15 min pull for each account (only for POP accounts obviously).
