Is there a sms counter on either of the above phones and whats the differences between the two models?

Yes, there is an sms counter on either model... They are the exact same phones in terms of hardware. The only difference are their looks and their firmwares. The W800 has the walkman firmware which has the flight mode. It allows you to use the mp3 player only instead of activating all of the phone's functions. If you buy the W800 it comes with a 512mb memory stick pro duo and the hpm-70 as well. The K750 only comes with a 64mb memory stick duo and a regular headset.
