I have a brand new 8125, was opened long enough to unlock.

Comes with the standard roms from Cingular, willing to update it to AKU2/ADP2 rom if requested.

Asking $525 USD shipped with insurance.

you know you can buy them for $450 through cingular.

Should've tried to sell it before the consumer release date. I got $650 for mine the Friday before it was released.

I guess they're actually out of them at cingular now, so maybe you can get 525 from someone who really wants them

Sold

(Yes I am well aware of how much you can get them for elsewhere, however the law of supply and demand is relevant to price as well)

Congratulations!

Why do you folks insist on trying to ruin other's sale thread by saying you can find an item cheaper elsewhere? If you can, go do it! If you think that is a sly way of getting someone to lower their price you are wrong. Just let people ask what they want to, if you don't like it, don't buy it.

I just know I'd be kinda pissed if I bought it and then found out I could get it for about $50 cheaper, counting tax, directly fromt the store

Find a store to get it from at that price today and get it. The person I sold it to was well aware of that yet still got it from me...could it be that the item is hard to locate in stores?

If you dont like the price don't buy but who are you to try and derail a sale?

People like this are the reason the moderators made it impossible to reply to anyone's thread in the main Buy/Sell/Trade forums. If that isn't a sufficient enough hint that others don't like what they do then they are simply to daft to be allowed to post.

Edit: I think this is now my meanest post on Howardforums...probably on any forum really...

I did. The reason I came across this thread was because I was looking for a 8125. I didn't want to spend 525 so I went to a store and put in an order on 2/23. It arrived earlier today (2/25) and I have it now.

Actually, I got a call from the store saying it was back ordered yesterday, so I put an order in on the website. The store ended up getting it today, so i picked that one up. the website one should be here in 2-4 days, so if anyone else wants to buy one for $525, pm me, I'll have an extra. Otherwise I'm just going to refuse shipment.

So, are you saying that $525 was a fair price to ask and you were wrong for thread crapping? Or is it ok for you to ask that...not other people?

Sorry for sticking to this point so much, but I've posted about this topic alot and it seems to catch on with most people...

I'm saying you can ask whatever price you want. there's a sucker born every minute.

When people advise that the 8125 is unlocked, does that mean that the carrier is unlocked so it can be used with a Tmobile sim card?

Thanks...

yes, but you can do it for free yourself with a free program called lokiwiz. You have to log in to the xda-developers site to see the downloads. They are at the bottom of the first post.
