hi all,

i've my moto v557 connected to my PowerBookG4/OSX10.4.5 via USB cable.

i can successfully comm to/from the phone with iSync, moto4lin &/or OnSync.

i manage all my contacts (name & phone#) on my Mac using AddressBook, the sync/update to the phone using iSync. works great.

audio/image/video files i move directly using moto4lin.

i'd *like* to be able to assign an audio file that exists on my phone to a phone # using software.

of course, i can do it ON the phone ...

there's no obvious way to do it with AddressBook or OnSync.

i *presume* that my best bet is to grab the addressbook from the phone via moto4lin (seem editor? dimple DL?) and make the assignments in a text file or using HexEditor. but, haven't figured out the right way as yet

has anyone done this as yet?

any pointers/discussion are much appreciated!
