MPT help!!!

MPT v4.04 always starts the connention wizard everytime i start the program and connect via bluetooth......did all the right seem work and drivers and stuff so i don't see what eles the problem could be it does connect via bluetooth and usb just fine....just when program is reopened it doesn't remember how to keep the settings....or im just too dumb to keep them 
anyone know whats going on here?
